Day 2

Already I'm hating getting up in the mornings. But I guess that comes with any job.
Day 1 was not the disaster it could have been. The people there are a very nice bunch. Friendly and open they helped me to settle in. Unfortunately I was full up with a stinking cold yesterday which left me feeling very woolly headed and having difficulty concentrating. Combined with my recent lack of practice in technical stuff this left me feeling a touch out of my depth at times. However, I'm sure that this is just a temporary thing and that I'll soon get up to speed (to mix a few metaphors).
