Dancing with Google

My merry dance with Google, or to be correct; Google's merry dance with me, continues. I have hits from Google searches. Occasionally when I read my own page there's a Google Page Rank showing on the Google Toolbar. But after just a few hours it disappears again. Just what is going on?
