I generally hate extracts from people's MSN or IRC conversations. Even those that are supposed to be amusing are generally only so to those who participated or their close mates.
Bash.org is a good database of funny quotes from IM conversations. There's a lot of techy and programmer humour that goes straight over my head. The rest is quite funny.
