I have nothing really to add today. It's been a strange kind of day. Its sheer normality has seemed completely out of sorts.

There was no solemn Bugle Call Retreat, no mass silence. There was no let up at work and still the same old chores to do at home.

Just a normal day.

Please excuse me if I mark a moment's silence.
