Sharon's not well. In fact she's quite sick. Not seriously ill but very sick. She has been since Wednesday which is one of the reasons I've been scarce.
On Wednesday morning she was feeling so poorly she didn't feel up to looking after the kids and asked me to drop them round to her Mum. By the time I got to work she was in so much pain that she phoned me and asked me to go home.
She had pains just under her ribcage that were reducing her to tears. So I took her to the doctor's. The (locum) doctor barely even looked at her before diagnosing severe indigestion despite Sharon's pleas that it was not.
So, long story short, it turns out Sharon has a kidney infection. She has been bed ridden for 3 days now and finally got the doctor to take proper look today.
<self pity moment>So once again I feel a bit like a single parent, trying to juggle a job, housework and 3 kids.</self pity moment>
