Yay me! I'm not quite sure how I acheived it but I've managed to get my employers website to rank #2 on Google for the search term we decided on. The only one that ranks higher is HM Customs & Excise, the government department that collects VAT.

It's quite a skill, Deirdre. It's a deft, delicate touch which Search Engine researchers acquire thru much trial and error practice. Whether it could be taught? That's anyone's guess.

Actually there's no real secret to Search Engine Optimisation. Just a lot of knowledge and practice.
