I had my tongue pierced on Friday and it's a little uncomfortable today. I think she pierced it a little too far forward but I guess I won't know for sure until I have the shorter bar put in.
Tell me, is 31 too old to be having your tongue pierced?
I had it pierced before but had to remove it last December because it was growing out. I've really missed it the last 8 months so decided to have it done again.
I'm sure, despite getting a little stressed immediately before it was done, that it hurt less this time than it did the last. However, that could be because, on a tip from someone who works in a piercing studio, I dosed myself up on Nurofen for 2 days previously.
To be honest, it was little more than slightly uncomfortable. It's probably more painful now than it was when she stuck the bloody great needle through it. Strange.
can they really grow out? i mean, i know some surface piercings grow out as the skin rejects them, but i didn't think that happened with tongues. hmm, rethinking my body mod future...
I can't even IMAGINE.
I, personally, am not a fan of a pierced tongue...but as long as Sharon enjoys it, CHEERS!
