Work has introduced an "Internet and Email" policy recently, banning personal use except for occasional use during lunchtime. As the biggest user of the internet in our office, I have to wonder whether this is aimed specifically at me.
This will stop the occasional post made during work hours and also prevent me from keeping up with other blogs during my lunch hour. Bugger.
What has really annoyed me though is the ban on mobile phones. We now have to keep our phones switched off from 9 to 5 except for lunch. As someone who like to make phone calls home during the day this has bugged me. Not least because, when I joined, I checked with the boss that she didn't mind me receiving occasional phone calls for my entertainment agency.
