Sharon and I went to see this film last night. Our fist night out to the cinema for just the 2 of us in over a year.
Wow. What a film. The saying "If you only see one film this year....." etc, etc is a little clichéd. But we have only seen 1 film in a year. And I'm glad it was this one.
I loved it. Plot, action, slush, effects.... it had the lot. I was half way home before it struck me that half the stuff I saw was effects and didn't exist other that in a computer somewhere.
Lord of the Rings III is the geatest movie. it doesn't happen very often when a screen version of a book is as powerful as the book itself... It's more than words can say, and it deserves the best of awards.
