Comment Spam & Die!

OK, maybe that's a little harsh, but over on webmasterworld.com there's a cautionary tale for comment spammers.

It appears Google's ranking algorithms have been updated to negate, and possibly even penalise, sites linked via comment spam. A pretty sorry webmaster was complaining that after all of his hard comment spamming his page rank had actually reduced from 4 or 5 to 0. Hah!

Kind of takes away the impetus to mess with our sites now doesn't it?
