Adoption James Pt. 3
Today we has the court hearing to determine James' adoption.
It took a total of 5 minutes for me to confirm that all of the details in Social Services' submission were correct and for the Magistrates to issue the adoption order.
The magistrates then gave James a certificate and a photo album and gave Sharon a bunch of flowers. I thought that added a nice personal touch.
We were warned it might be, but it seemed a bit of a disappointment after the months it took to get here. But you have to hand it to the Magistrates who obviously went to some lengths to make it as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
