Free Freecell

A short while ago I posted a quick review of several versions of Freecell for the Palm OS on my Handspring Treo.

At that time I hadn't yet tried Freecell from Freecell.com. I have now played it and, I'm afraid I'm not that impressed.

Compared to both the other versions, the freecell.com game looks drab, is not particularly easy to play and it's feature list is non-existent. Both of the others have "1 move left" and "End of game" detection which are extremely useful and optional "1 move undo" or "unlimited undo" which is essential. This game has none of those features.

However, you can continue to use the game once the trial period has run out. So, by default, it looks like this will be the version that remains on my Handspring Treo.
