I've tweaked the template for the site again.
I've removed the shout box from the bottom right-hand corner. Again the curse of theaardvark struck another free service provider. The people providing the shoutbox I was using closed it down less than 24 hours after I had installed it. Ho hum. I will probably install another, but it will be a locally hosted, PHP driven one. I'm half way through setting it up but don't currently have the time to finish it off.
I've also changed the links at the bottom of each entry. Comments will now need to be entered via the individual archive page of each entry. This improves comment security by removing the direct link to the commenting CGI script. I will also be renaming the commenting CGI script just as soon as I can remember which website I got the hint from so I can check out the instructions.
A comments to test whether I've broken the comments system. Actually, I know that I broke it. I'm really testing whether I've managed to mend it. ;-)
I have a locally hosted shout box that I got from PHPArena on my site. I did some tweaking, but not much. Also, I think I know what you're talking about with the comment system. You just have to rename the .cgi and then in MT.cfg tell it what you renamed it to.
