My Switch card was refused today because we've reached our overdraft limit. It's nothing new for us recently. We seem to run out of money just before the end of each month. Today however is 3 weeks before my next pay day.
During the next 3 weeks I need £150 for fuel to get to work, James need £20 for school dinners and there's over £250 due to come out in Standing Orders. One of the rear tyres on my car needs changing urgently and I have to pay for the service done recently.
Ordinarily I would be able to look to my DJing income to help tide us through the tight spots. Unfortunately this month is particularly quiet so there's not much extra money coming in. I'd consider getting some cash in hand work at the weekend but it's not that easy to come by.
We could really be up sh*t creek this time.
