Formula 1 race timings
I've followed Formula 1 for quite a while. As technology has improved, the amount of information and coverage available has increased dramatically.
Accurate lap times, on-board cameras, pit lane interviews, improved lap and timing graphics have all arrived since I started watching in the early 80s (although the loss of Murray Walker's commentry detracted from the coverage).
This year is the first that I've been aware of where you can get access to the full lap and sector timing courtesy of The Official Formula 1 Website, information that was previously only available to teams and commentators. The stats include the lap chart, a graphic representation of the drivers' relative positions.
