BBC 7 - Seventh Dimension

Content of an email sent today to BBC 7 (Yes. I know I'm being picky. But Sharon spent 200 on a DAB radio primarily so that I could listen to BBC 7. It's just a litle annoying is all) :-

I am a keen listener to BBC 7, particularly the Seventh Dimension programme between 18:00 and 18:30 on a weekday as I am travelling home from work.

I have been listening for just over 6 months since I was given a DAB radio for my car.

I am disappointed therefore to find that, despite the short time I have been listening, to already be hearing my first repeat 7th Dimension series.

I wasn't a huge fan of "Paradise Lost in Cyberspace" the first time I heard it approximately 5 months ago but that is simply a matter of personal taste. For it to be repeated in the same time slot so soon surprises me.

I doubt that the BBC is so short of Science Fiction radio material that they are forced to repeat programs on a 6 monthly cycle. Surely you can find some other fare to provide us.

Where are the Hitchhicker series? What about the vast number of audio books that could surely be licensed? Please tell me I'm not about to hear "The Day of the Triffids" again, despite how much I enjoyed it earlier this year.

I should be grateful for an explanation of why you felt it necessary to repeat this program so quickly. I would also like to know what series I am likely to be hearing over the 6 months. Will they also be material broadcast only recently?
