Trouble and Strife

Pretty soon our local hospital is going to put a zipper on Sharon's abdomen. First there's the 3 cesarean sections that she's had, then of course she had to have her gall bladder removed last year.

Last week she was told that she has ovarian cysts on her right ovary. They couldn't find her left one at all. Apparently the cysts appear to have some solid matter, which I'm guessing from the way it was brought up is not good. It looks like more surgery will be required.

Sharon's GP doesn't think that the cysts will be malignant but can't be sure. However, she's not being treated as a high priority case. We don't have private health insurance and don't have the money to pay for a private consultation ourselves. So we've just got to wait it out.

Frankly we could do without this right now. Not that any time is a good time, but we already have enough on our plate right now. We'd quite like a short run of good luck rather than the pile of shit life seems to be handing us at the moment.

Right now I'm not sure I'll be blogging much in the next few weeks. I don't feel that I have much I want to say. (Self pity will probably wear off soon and normal service should return).
