She spent the evening at his house having dinner with his parents. I suppose it could be so much worse but still, she is only 13.
I have 3 daughters (11, 5, 4) and my gut feeling is to lock them in the cellar till they are 45 ;-)

Yes I would, slightly. But only because there is a much reduced chance of her getting pregnant / an STD and screwing up her life.
My daughter is an intelligent and sensible girl. However, 13 year olds are prone to irrational acts (god knows I was) and I worry that she may do something that will have a catastrophic effect on her future.
Sigh. My daughter turns 13 at the end of the month. She doesn't live with me, but has been talking about boys for a while now. I don't think she's been on an actual date yet, but it'll happen soon enough...
