When we bought a laptop we also bought a wireless internet router. Sharon suggested it would allow me to blog, work and destroy websites from the comfort of our bed.
Have you ever tried using a laptop in bed? It's not easy. You have to be careful to allow airflow so the thing doesn't overheat. You have to find a seating position that isn't going to cripple you in 30 seconds flat.
I'm using a overbed table we bought for Karen. But this bed or sofa-top table looks even better. Not sure it'd stand too much vigorous bouncing around though, huh?
Bouncing around? What do you DO while blogging in bed?
Don't ask. I'm writing this in bed at the moment.
Actually, right now we're watching the UK election results. Not particularly condusive to bouncing around of any kind.
Yea heatflow can be tricky, I've been watching a DVD and suddently the laptop would just power down. Too much heat.
Putting it on a cusion thats just smaller than the base is allright, it should keep it level but also doesent cover the fan.
I've got this little beasty running, if you want to watch seat by seat. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/vote2005/scorecard/html/scorecard.stm
The wooden one is the "laptop laidback". Made in Canada and also available in the US. As soon as I find someone supplying it in the UK I'm getting one!
Hi this table is now available in the UK. We bought one and it is great.
We got it from www.poshprezzies.co.uk
20 from China on Ebay - just ordered one for myself

I am looking for one of these too. I am a bed-bound paraplegic and have been in this situation 20 years..Thank god the price of laptops came down

I'd like to buy the laptop laidback portable work station but notice that it goes for a huge amount of money at Posh Prezzies. Is there a place in London or on the Internet where I can buy it for a reasonable sum? It would be great for computing in bed!
