Not Immoral, Illegal or Fattening

Lynn is calling it a day and the net will be a poorer place for it. But I can entirely understand her reasons for it.

There's a great many bloggers who started writing sites that none of their friends or family knew about. The freedom that you get from writing without consequence is a vital ingredient in the attraction of blogging for some people. Once a blog is being read by people you know the dynamic changes. It's like finding that your psyciatrist is discussing your peccadilloes with everyone you know. You'd simply stop telling him anything important.

This blog has changed dramatically over the last 2 years because many people I know read it. Those people shouldn't take offence from this. Most of the changes are not to preserve my own secrets but those of people who do not directly contribute to this site. Sharon and I have, on occasions. had the usual trials you would expect raising our kids but you wouldn't expect me to publicise any of these in a forum that stands any chance of being associated with them either now or in the future.

Goodbye Lynn. You'll be missed but I understand where you're coming from (or is that going to?) because I've nearly made the same decision several times.
