London Bombs II

As the day goes on, more of London's train stations seem to close. For a great many people taxis are the only way to get home and the queues stretch for hundreds of yards. Taxis will apparently take you out of the city but not into it.

i haven't heard of any further explosions since this mornings but the wail of emergency service sirens is constant and ambulances are still rushing by.

Most people seem resigned to a long slog home but there are a few panicky groups who seem convinced they'll be next if theyan't get out of the city straight away.

i'm now about a third of the way down the taxi queue that I've benn stood in for the last 40 minutes.
