I spent some of this weekend doing maintenance on the BlogPhiles Webring. This time I've started from the end and I'm working my way forward.
I'm a little surprised at the number of sites that were submitted to the ring over the last 6 months that no longer exist. Do people have no commitment these days? Some site submitted in the last 2 months no longer exist. If you're not committed to a blog, why bother to spend the time to get it included in a webring? Huh?
I can't say it's the most fun in the world but it needs doing. It would appear that there are quite a few people who submit their site, add the code and then remove the code as soon as the site has been included in the ring. I don't think that's fair on the other members so I try to weed them out.
