Orange SPV M2000 Update

I've been living with the Orange SPV M2000 for a number of months now and I must say that I'm mightily impressed.

I had the original Orange SPV 2 years ago and was disappointed with its usability. The small screen and crap menus made it a practical nightmare. The SPV resolves this with a big (bigger than the Treo) touch sensitive screen. The ability to use the stylus to choose menu options make much more sense of the whole Windows Mobile operating system which doesn't work well with keyboard only entry.

Tonight, being stuck in a hospital with no wireless internet has proved to me once again just how usable the web browser on the SPV M2000 is too. I've been able to do a reasonable blog entry, check my emails and even read entries on an online forum I'm a member of without too much problem. Admittedly, it's still nowhere as easy as on a full screen PC or laptop but still, given the circumstances, eminently usable.

I was hesitant to change back to a Windows based SPV from the Palm OS Treo but now that I have, I'm not sure that I'd go back to another Treo.

I'm waiting for the day that 3G datacards come down in price both in terms of purchase and usage costs to a level that I can justify though so that I can have internet access on the laptop from just about everywhere.

I have the SPV M2000 and can't work out how to connect the Wi Fi. It finds the connection, but when I try and open a site on internet explorer, it tries to dial through a modem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Mike

Mike, I'm having exactly the same problem with my M2000. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix the problem? Please please please someone help me before the phone goes out through the window!
