I don't think I've mentioned that I bought a new motorbike a month ago. I bought a 3 year old Kawasaki ZX9R Ninja. It's been a busy month.
I absolutely love this bike. It's quicker than I am, by quite some way, incredibly easy to ride and very forgiving of a not too experienced rider. The only problem I've encountered so far is that it doesn't like pulling away at low revs. Not much torque. As I was used to my Yamaha Thunderace, which had loads of torque, (although its been 3 years since it was stolen) I spent the first fortnight stalling the Ninja every time I pulled away. Which is embarrassing.
The kids love the bike. I took Jimmy and Chloe out for a spin the other night. Jim now wants me to buy a helmet his size so I can give him lifts to places. He decreed it was "The best day ever! I'll remember this always!" Chloe just wants me to take her to school on the bike. Connor threw the biggest strop because we don't have a helmet to fit him so I couldn't take him anywhere. Besides, I'm not sure I'd trust him to hold on all the time.

Very nice looking bike. Maybe someday I'll be able to get mine.
