Special Characters
Over at 4-club.co.ukI frequently have to put the price of items into the posts but if I simply type the "£" symbol from the keyboard I get wierd characters output.
The XHTML Character Entity Reference is a useful guide to 252 character entities allowed in html 4 and XHTML 1.0 including £.

Strange I thought WordPress does that automatically?
Anyway you might want to update at some point, 1.5 has some nasty security holes.
It's on my list of things to do.... Along with replacing my firewall and anti virus, getting my home network running agian and upgrading arseburger to the new MT.
I think I need an extra day in the week...... Octerday. It comes after Sunday.
