How Stupid is the Future

If you have a website that allows public interaction through an online form, it strikes me as a particularly stupid idea to advertise that website by spamming other sites that allow public interaction through online forms.

For the past few weeks I've been spammed by T h e F u t u r u m . com. (If you really want to look, paste into your browser and remove spaces). Apparently you can leave messages that can be read in "the Future". Whoopy shit. Sorry, but it's been done a thousand times and been done better.

Someone calling themselves "ADMIN" has been leaving links to said webshite in my comments.

It would appear that the form used on their site has no spam controls of its own. Now, I have no scripting ability myself but if they were to continue spamming weblog I don't imagine that it would take too long before someone took revenge by filling their depositary of "Eternalized Messages" with Spam, rubbish or obscenities.

It looks like they've already upset one person....

I was wondering what that was. I went to it, but it looked kind of stupid, so I didn't bother delving any deeper.
