More on the M42 Traffic Management System and speed cameras
Yes. This has a very limited appeal in terms of my readers, but it's of huge importance to me as I spend 30 to 90 minutes every week day on this stretch of the M42.
The BBC has news that there are to be yet more delays whilst the Active Traffic Management system on the M42 (previous mentioned here) is finished off. These delays look likely to continue until 2007 when "the project should be complete". By that time it will have taken 4 years to install the system.
I am very cynical about the chances of this working but I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong. So far over half my career at my present employers has been marred by the chaos caused by the installation of this system.
