John Walker Lindh

Do you remember John Walker Lindh? Nope? Me neither.

How about the "American Taliban"? A little more familiar? Me too.

Remember what happened to him when he was taken back to the US from Afghanistan? Well you should. It's a classic example of just how badly justice can suffer when a nation directs its outrage toward an individual.

John Lindh's father has stepped forward to give his son's side of the story. I would encourage you to read it.

Every time I read something else about the Bush Administration and the American press I get just a little bit more afraid for the state of this world.
