Problems with Firefox 1.5.0.1

Anyone else having problems downloading videos using Firefox since upgrading to v.1.5.0.1? Firefox seems to slow down to the point at which it becomes useless. I don't know what the problem is. I don't know whether it's Firefox itself or one of the 16 Extensions I've got installed (PerFormancing, DOM Inspector, Screen Grab, Web Developer, Signature, Google Toolbar, Tab Preview, CustomizeGoogle, IE Tab, Blogger Web Comments, Aardvark, Bloglines Toolkit, Spellbound Development, Adsense Notifier, del.icio.us). However, it's only occurred since upgrading to 1.5.0.1.

Coupled with the fact that it doesn't yet work with the official release of Spellbound, it makes the automatic upgrade thing a bit of a pain in the arse.

On my laptop I have downloaded the latest development version of Spellbound but I'm not happy doing this. There's a reason why it's still in development and that's because they're not confident they've ironed out all of the problems.

I don't have any noticable problems downloading video clips from places like Kontraband.com. I do use the DownThemAll extension though. I notice this is missing from your list.

Try uninstalling Aardvark, if that does what I think it does then it could slow you down after a while.
