Friday night out in Lichfield

Every Friday night I'm DJing at an 80s & 90s retro night at a pub in Lichfield called The Crown (used to be called The Hogshead). The night is called Friday Says RELAX (see what they did there?).

It's been quite an experience over the last couple of months and the night is slowly growing in popularity. I'm enjoying it greatly because I get to play tunes I don't normally play and every week so far has been different. AS far as I know, it's the only retro night in Lichfield and quite possibly the only 80s & 90s night outside of a major city. The 80s & 90s are such a rich seam of music for a decent night out too.

Some nights it has been incredibly cheesy with plenty of tunes such as Spice Girls, Steps, Take That and Kylie Minogue. This week it was heavy on the indie tunes with plenty of Blur, Pulp and Oasis. Yet other nights there's a lot of 90s dance music like Dario G, Sash and Ultra Nate.

If you're out and about in Lichfield on a Friday night, please pop in and see us.

My friend, I read this message, but don't you think all these joy and happiness that you explained will disappear once you get out of this little club? That's the nature of this worldly entertaimment, whatever it is. Find the real happiness and joy in God. Turn unto him. Obey his will. He loves you. Feel free to reply. Thank you.
