Seriously, the BBC has produced worse stuff than this (Elderado, anyone?) but not for a long time, at least not on primetime. The script was so weak that the massive holes in it threatened the structural integrity of my sanity. The dialogue was so forced and clunky it reminded me of a school play and the whole premise so clichéd that Hollywood has already done a spoof that has more originality.

It's CSI plus The Da Vinci Code minus brains, reason and entertainment.

Not so bad it's good, but so bad I had to keep watching because I couldn't believe it. And, therein may lie its only hope of success. I know I'll be watching the next one, because I refuse to believe that the normally excellent BBC drama department could continue making something so awful.
